Thomas Waggershauser appointed Chairman of the ETG Marketing Committee

10/2026 | Thomas Waggershauser, Managing Director of acontis technologies, has been elected Chairman of the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) Marketing Committee (MC). He succeeds Christoph Widmann, who chaired the committee from 2014. Members elected Waggershauser unanimously on October 21, 2026, in Nuremberg, Germany.

At the second ETG Marketing Committee meeting of 2026, Martin Rostan, Executive Director of the EtherCAT Technology Group, thanked Widmann on behalf of the committee for his long-standing commitment to the Marketing Committee and his continued support of ETG activities.
