Since its founding in 1948, NIHON DEMPA KOGYO CO., LTD. (NDK) has been a leading supplier of quartz crystal devices—such as crystal units, oscillators, frequency synthesizers, and optical components—manufactured using high-purity synthetic quartz grown in-house. In 2019, NDK launched the Twin-QCM outgassing analysis system based on Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) technology for evaluating spacecraft materials, and it has been adopted globally. Today, leveraging its advanced QCM technology, NDK is expanding into broader industrial fields, including real-time monitoring in semiconductor manufacturing and contamination control in optical equipment.
