ETG.2100 EtherCAT Network Information (ENI) Specification
The EtherCAT Network Information (ENI) Specification describes the structure of ENI files using XML schemas.
The ETG.2100 ENI Specification 1.0.1.2 including the corresponding xsd-schema file 1.5.1 is for available for a 6 week ETG review. Review period ends Oct 13, 2023.
The ENI (EtherCAT Network Information) file is a standardized XML-based file that describes a configured EtherCAT network segment. It contains SubDevice, topology and network information. It is generated by a EtherCAT configuration tool and then can be imported by an EtherCAT MainDevice to operate the network segment. The ETG.2100 specifies the used elements and attributes and their content. The xsd-schema can be used together with an XML editor for verification of the file and support during editing the file.
You may not copy, distribute or “mirror” the file or printed version of the document, or any part of it, for any other purpose without permission in writing from the ETG (EtherCAT Technology Group).
