University of Debrecen
Mechatronics as a science is still seeking its position in the engineering sciences, but the development trends of the recent industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) are of great help. In the spirit of this, although the mechatronics training in Debrecen is two-steps - as mechatronics engineers are trained in Hungarian and English and in undergraduate and master's programs - it can be considered one, with 11 semesters of training. The profession of mechatronics engineer can be extended with a master's degree, but of course those with a bachelor's degree have the opportunity to complete the course with a bachelor's degree and possibly choose another engineering degree in the master's degree. The work of the department is assisted by the Beckhoff outsourced department Beckhoff Automation Kft. Budapest.
