New measurement data acquisition system with XXL performance in mini format
With QuantumX, measurement projects are on the fast lane, reaching accurate results rapidly – without cutting corners in accuracy and reliability of measurement data. This innovative product family is suitable for numerous different applications. The modules can record various physical quantities such as force, torque, pressure, temperature, distance, position, speed, voltage, current, resistance and even CAN-Bus reliably and time-synchronously. All common transducer technologies are supported.
All input channels are electrically isolated, come along with high accuracy class and can be individually configured – e.g. for data rate, filter, transducer excitation, transducer type, TEDS treatment and signal adaptation through different types of scaling. Digitalization is implemented with a high resolution. 20 efficient numbers of bits and the high reliability of the system stand for accurate & reliable measur-ment. The comprehensive support by TEDS technology provides enormous time savings and benefit in quality.
The Gateway Module CX27 with EtherCAT fieldbus interface is available for real-time connection to test and automation systems. This enables rapid and simply connection of the powerful QuantumX system for data acquisition to real-time cycle times below 1 ms.
In parallel to real-time up to 3 Mio samples / sec of high-quality measurement data can be logged via Ethernet TCP/IP or FireWire for time synchronous data analysis.
Modern data acquisition systems, such as QuantumX, acquire data and transmit it both in real time to an EtherCAT network and via Ethernet TCP/IP to a data analysis tool or logger.
The compact and light modules can be used individually or, depending on the requirements, combined into a large QuantumX system. Several hundred measurement channels can be synchronized and time-synchronous measurements implemented. The modular concept means that individual modules can be positioned close to the measurement points. This enables shorter lines to the transducer, saving costs and reducing susceptibility to interference. The degree of freedom in the possible system topologies makes QuantumX a flexible partner for future applications.
