Scientific Research department (SR) of ULSU designs and builds robot-manipulators and control joysticks with force feedback for special purposes. Control system of the robot-manipulators is designed on the base Open Source software. Main features of the control system are OS Linux with realtime extensions and ROS (Robot Operation System). Communications between actuators, motor drivers, sensors and control computer are designed on base EtherCAT or other technologies. SR has powefull team with programmers, mechanical, electron and electrical engineers.
