Hercules Controls provides consulting services in the development of industrial electronics covering both hardware and software. Past projects have ranged from machine tool control to power conversion electronics. The company has a particular skill set in software development, principally software for Linux and "bare-metal" code for microprocessors. As a significant part of product development can often be certification and enclosures, the company has invested in a range of equipment covering EMC testing, metalworking and PCB assembly for rapid prototyping.
