Martin Rostan

Martin Rostan studied aerospace engineering in Germany and in the United Kingdom and received his diploma degree in 1992. Subsequently he managed the international research project that developed the initial CANopen technology. From 1996 until 1998 he was marketing manager and authorized officer at Selectron. Since 1998 he has worked with Beckhoff, first as senior product manager for Ethernet and fieldbus systems and meanwhile as senior VP of technology marketing. Martin serves the fieldbus community in various committees: he is the executive director of the EtherCAT Technology Group, chairs the CANopen groups inside CAN in Automation and represents Beckhoff in ODVA and in several conference program committees. He is also a technical expert in the ISO and IEC standardization committees for industrial communication. With numerous technical articles published in magazines, text books, conferences, and symposia he contributes to education in the areas of fieldbus and Ethernet technologies.

Adrian Valentino is a licensed Electrical Engineer and graduate of Mapúa Institute of Technology, holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Automation. With almost 15 years of experience in the automation industry, he has built deep expertise across machine vision, motion systems, industrial networking, and advanced control architectures. His career spans technical engineering, solution design, and consultative sales, enabling him to translate complex automation challenges into clear, high‑value business outcomes. Since December 2023, Adrian has been one of the starting members of Beckhoff Philippines, leading early market development, high‑impact client engagements, and the nationwide adoption of PC‑based control technologies.

Carmina Nate is the Engineering and Marketing Manager of Shoketsu SMC Corporation, with nearly 12 years of experience in automation, mechatronics, industrial transformation, and artificial intelligence for manufacturing applications. She is a graduate of Bulacan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering and is a Licensed Electronics Technician. She is also an SMC International Trainer for Industry 4.0, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence, and has undergone technical training in Spain and Thailand. She actively contributes to industry development through technical training, and automation projects.
