Vario-X Safety I/O (STO)

The Vario-X Safety I/O Modules are operating as FSoE Devices inside EtherCAT Networks. The Safety Modules can be easily and fast installed on the Backplane of the Vario-X System. They are integrated into the EtherCAT Network as well as supplied from the backplane without any additional wiring effort, fast and easy.

This variant offers 12 FDI, 2FDO signals as well as 2 STO Safe-torque-off signals to the backplane.

The STO Signal is forwarded via the backplane to the 48V Power Supplies and connected to the MQ15 DC Connectors to connect the STO Signal to the decentralized drives without additional wiring.
