KPA EtherCAT Analyzer (EtherCAT Network Diagnostics)

KPA EtherCAT Analyzer captures, decodes, and visualizes EtherCAT communication, giving developers and service engineers deep insight into what happens on the network. Raw traffic is turned into clear diagnostic data - without any changes to the system configuration.

Built on the Generic Protocol Parser, the Analyzer decodes EtherCAT frames independently of the Master implementation and is compatible with traffic from any EtherCAT Master.

Operating systems:

Windows (Avalonia UI (.NET); architecture allows future builds for additional operating systems)

• Non-intrusive operation - no changes to the Master configuration or slave application software required
• ENI file support (ETG.2100), generated by any compliant configuration tool
• Frame decoding with datagram WKC values, timing information, and process data
• Process data monitoring with real-time charts and watch lists
• Trigger-based capture - signal threshold, time-based, cross-signal logic - retaining pre-/post-trigger windows for offline analysis
• Offline .pcap analysis and live capture via network interface (WinPcap)
• KPA EtherCAT Master integration: WKC statistics, port status, communication error counters, slave error registers and AL status codes
