The LISV develops its multi-disciplinary research activities, both theoretical and experimental, mainly around mechanical design, automation, understanding of phenomena such as locomotion, manipulation, ontology, and automation for the RI team, and around the characterization, both upstream and downstream, of the behavior of the systems, which starts from the modeling of the behavior of the components in order to understand the role of environmental parameters, then the instrumented and metrological component or system in order to validate its performance. The main fields of application are robotics, cobotics, mechatronics, personal assistance and mobility, embedded systems, autonomous vehicles, sensors, and information transmission. LISV also has many activities of valorization (prototypes, patents, software, 3 startups have emerged in recent years).
