LZ201 EtherCAT Master Board
LZ201 is a controller board intended to function as EtherCAT master controller. The board is designed around a 667MHz Xilinx XC7Z010/20 dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 Processor with Xilinx 7-series FPGA logic. Xilinx Zynq-7000 programmable SoC with built-in dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processors FPGA fabric and a 1GB Ethernet port plus MAC within the chip.
Additionally, it features two 100MB Ethernet ports for EtherCAT, a Micro SD card slot, and a Serial UART with micro USB connector.
The board also offers a JTAG connector for programming and a serial UART port with micro USB connector for low level interactions using a serial console. And this board has 80 port’s GPIO expansion connector which is tied directly to the FPGA fabric. This connector allows user to make another expansion board, and satisfy user demand.
On this board, user can run multiple type of EtherCAT master stacks which are “ARM CPU based KSJ Master”, “ARM + FPGA based KSJ Master”, “FPGA Master”, “KPA Master”. For each master stacks detail, please refer to another production pages. KSJ Master is our original Master stacks and KPA master is provided by koenig-pa GmbH.
