The Institute for System Dynamics and Mechatronics (ISyM) at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI) focus on the development of systems that can perform complex tasks efficiently and, where necessary, autonomously thanks to their ability to interact, adapt and cooperate. The members of the institute combine their expertise from the mechatronic domains of electrical engineering, control engineering, computer science and mechanical engineering for the synergetic development of sustainable mechatronic systems. With its focus on Intelligent Systems, Human Mechatronics & Medical Technology and Connected Mobility, ISyM is involved in the design of future-oriented solutions for applications and technological challenges in the fields of industry, healthcare and mobility.
