Martin Rostan studied Aerospace Engineering in
Germany and in the United Kingdom and received his
Diploma Degree in 1992. Subsequently he managed the international
research project that developed the initial CANopen technology. From
1996 until 1998 he was marketing manager and authorized officer at Selectron. Since 1998 he is with Beckhoff, first
as senior product manager for Ethernet and fieldbus systems and since
2006 as Head of Technology Marketing. |

Martin serves the fieldbus community in various committees: he is the
Executive Director of the EtherCAT Technology Group,
chairs the CANopen groups inside CAN in Automation and represents
Beckhoff in ODVA and in several conference program committees. He also
is technical expert in ISO and IEC standardization committees for
industrial communication. With publications in magazines, text books,
conferences and symposia he contributes to the dissemination of fieldbus
and Ethernet technologies. |

Beryl Fan studied Automatic Control in Beijing
Institute of Technology and received the Bachelor degree. |

She joined in Beckhoff China as Senior Marketing Executive since 2003,
and then she took over the position of Representative of ETG
Office China and is in charge of the EtherCAT Technology
promotion in China since 2007. |

Brian Tung (Chih-Wei
Tung) was major in Electronic Engineering in Vanung University in Chung
Li, distinguished graduated in 1993. He is currently working in the
Jidien Co. Ltd. as a senior manager and he is in charge of Beckhoff
Automation department and EtherCAT technology service in Taiwan. |

Brian has devoted himself to Industrial Automation filed since 1996.
During this 3-4 years, he has promoted IFD technology successfully.
Creating a great need and rooted a complete automation system in Taiwan
market. In 2005, with Brian’s leadership, Jidien Co. Ltd was formally
become Beckhoff Automation agent in Taiwan. Until now, Beckhoff products
such as IPC, Embedded PC, Fieldbus I/O, Drive & Servo System and
EtherCAT solutions have spread out all Taiwan with good reputation. |
