Jupiter

INGENIA is pleased to announce the release of JUPITER, a distributed servo drive solution with integrated motion controller and digital servo amplifier.

Fully connectivity and compatibility
Jupiter can be interfaced in a flexible number of ways. It can be configured from a USB port or RS485 and networked on a CANopen or EtherCAT network. An interface board is available to minimize prototyping costs (IO Board).

Feedbacks
This drive can operate with a wide choice of feedback devices supporting by default Incremental and absolute Encoder, Digital Halls, Analog Halls, SinCos, Analog Input (Potentiometer), PWM sensor and DC-Tachometer.

All-round protection and safety
It comes with extensive protective circuitry against overcurrent, excess temperature, undervoltage and overvoltage, voltage transients, short-circuits in the motor or adjustable current limiting.

The Jupiter servo drive is also equipped with embedded safe torque off functionality. It ensures safe, instant shutdown of servo drive in the event of failure. It is implemented in accordance with the IEC 60204-1.

Tasks such as machine setup, cleaning or typical maintenance work that previously required power-down conditions can now be accomplished without removing power from the entire machine.

Built-in programmable controller
One of Ingenia’s servo drives most powerful features is the ability to write user programs to control motion sequences based on the status of analog/digital inputs, motor position or internal parameters. Jupiter is configured and programmed with the same user friendly graphical tool as other Ingenia servo drives, MotionLab suite.

Features at a glance:

  • Built-in DC/DC converter for operation from a single 10-130 VDC power supply
  • Motor safe torque off function
  • 40 Arms continuous current
  • Drives rotary or linear brushless, DC brush and voice coil
  • CANopen, EtherCAT, RS485 and USB
  • Digital Incremental, SSI, Analog Halls, SinCos
  • Just 100 x 100 mm
