EtherCAT Technology Introduction: How does it work?

Abstract: EtherCAT has unique features since it makes use of a unique functional principle: processing on the fly. We will look at this approach and learn why this is a game changer: it turns Ethernet into a field bus while preserving the Internet technologies.
