Abstract |
Omron has
selected EtherCAT as the machine
automation network for the new line of
Sysmac Controllers. EtherCAT is the
fastest emerging network for machine
automation. It’s fast, accurate and
highly efficient for the total machine.
Based on two applications the easiness
of installing and commissioning the
EtherCAT network will be shown together
with the benefits that were experienced
in using the network. |

the Benelux for over 20 years, holding
various roles, mainly focused around
engineering, product and market
management, always with respect to
automation and networking related
products. He has seen many technology
and product developments in this time,
few more important to Omron than the
decision to adopt EtherCAT as it's
machine automation network. |
